Details Make the Difference

Take a closer look. When you examine the lettering and details of various model makers, frequently you will find our competitors use only one, or at most two, colors of paint. Frequently they will only put lettering on the sides of the cars. They do this to save money. Every separate surface needs another paint mask. Every additional color needs a separate paint mask. Look closely at an AZL model. We frequently use 5 or more colors on our details, and we put markings in all the right locations, including top, ends, and hard to reach places like behind ladders and on hopper gates. It’s more expensive, but we want to get it right. You model in Z scale because of all the little details. We do too.
