“The E7s are here! The E7s are here!” was all you could hear from me for about 15 minutes last Friday. Finally they have arrived, and just tin time for the holidays. Let me tell you, these are the BEST LOOKING BRASS LOCOMOTIVES YET!!! They run great too. Of course, they are hand made brass, so they each have their own personality, but all in all these are darn good looking sets!

Some really cool features:

• Windshield details such as wipers and side window frames – a first for AZL brass
• Faulhaber motor with huge flywheel
• Individual modifications depending on roadname
• Two powered units per set
• Directional LED headlight – another first for AZL brass.

Let’s take them one at a time:

AZL-2840 NYC E7A-E7A 10 Sets of #4000 & 4001 and 10 Sets of #4008 & 4009 made.
   Classic New York Central – Perfect for our 20^th Century Limited set coming early next year.

AZL-2841 PRR E7A-E7B-E7A Set #5846 & 5846B & 5850
   E7 units in Brunswick Green – only 4 sets were made! An instant collectors item!

AZL-2842 PRR E7A-E7B-E7A 9 sets of #5840 & 5842B & 5841 and 9 sets of #5842 & 5852B & 5901 were made.
   The Pennsylvania sets offer stunning details that the other sets do not: raised number boards on the noses of the A units and full PRR radio antennas run the length of the A units as well.

AZL-2843 Southern Pacific E7A-E7B-E7B 11 sets of #6000 & 5900 & 5901 and 11 sets of #6003 & 5906 & 5907 were made.
   The Southern Pacific set is the only set to include two B units – one of the B units is powered – the other is a dummy. The “Daylight” paint scheme is to die for!

AZL-2844 Union Pacific E7A-E7B #907A & 908B – 6 sets were made.
   Both units are powered in this classic UP locomotive set. With only 6 made, it will be an instant collector’s item.

AZL-2845 Seaboard Air Line E7A-E7B 5 sets of #3017 & 3105 and 5 sets of #3027 & 3106 were made.
   This is the first SAL model that AZL has ever made. The “Citrus” paint scheme is an east coast classic!

AZL-2846 Union Pacific “City of Los Angeles” E7A-E7B 6 sets of #927A & 929B were made.
   Sadly, all of these have already been sold!
